Well I just purchased the Neutrogena Complete Acne System at Walmart. It was actually a few days ago. Well, the system works like this. Every morning and night you wash you face with a gentle exfoliating cleanser that contains .5% salicyclic(sp.) acid. At night, after using the cleanser you apply this cream that contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. In the morning, after using the cleanser you apply this moisturizer that contains sunscreen (zinc oxide)..it is also supposed to soothe your skin and make it look healthier. I don’t think using the benzoyl peroxide only at night would help. Do you think that using it both day and night would be too much? BC the directions say to only use the cream with benzoyl peroxide at night.

Using the cream at night should be sufficient. If you use it in the day time, the sun could burn or irritate your skin because benzoyl peroxide and sun don’t mix comfortably.

i would try to follow the directions because it might irritate your skin and break you out.
I use neutrogena but not the whole system. I just use the cream. Your best bet ever would be to use the system at night. u should only use it in the mornings if your face is really really oily or your acne gets worse.
It seems like the levels of the salysilic acid and Benzoyl peroxide are VERY low. Typically SA is 2% and BP is 10% in products. I would say it is safe to double up!
