Don’t shave, it works every time for me.

If you spend more money and get really good shaving cream, it will minimize those things. And buying a really good razor helps too.

I had to clean shave every day for a week a few years ago, and I hated it. I had your same problem.

I have the same problem and I am 30 years old. A friend taught me this and it works everytime, when I dont do it i get razor bumps.
First get a good razor, a gilette 3blade razor are usually the best. The main thing is get a rag and get the water super hot, un bearably hot. Put this on your face with it folded over once kinda like a bandit in a cowboy movie. Then put it back under the hot water, then put it on your neck and bottom of chin area. This opens up your pours. Always shave in the direction of your hair growth. never shave upwards always downwards in other words. always use shaving cream too i forgot to mention after the rag part. then be sure and put after shave LOTION not after shave. any lotion will do but that will salve your problem over night. It sounds like a lot of work but if you do it consistanly you bumps will no longer be an issue.

Hi, I’m assuming you wet shave? Ok, try this. If possible, try only to shave when you HAVE to. When you need a shave, first have a shower and get lots of hot water on your face to open up your pours. Then rub a little ‘KING OF SHAVES’ oil into your face (the one with tea tree oil in it. Shave using a clean blade dipped in very hot water. Use downward strokes if possible. After shaving, use a sensitive skin face wash using COLD water to close your pores. Never put after shave on your face, this dries out the skin and causes spots etc. Good luck.

KING OF SHAVES with tea tree oil is excellent. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic that helps with spots etc. A clean blade is essential as an old one has lots of bacteria on it that can cause spots.
Gillette Mach 3 is about the best razor to use.
Once in a while you should not shave for a week and then go to the barbers for a cut throat shave.

    Try shaving in the shower.
    No kidding.
Just get the hot water running and get your face really saturated and when you shave, press really light and smooth and you should have no problem.
You should be able to shave without using a mirror. Just feel your face for hair when you are finished.
After you exit the shower, dry your face and grab an electric razor to get any missed spots or apply finishing touches.

Don’t use a razor with more than 2 blades
This causes it so press against your skin alot more,
Get a good shaving CREAM with glycerin in it,
Shave only after you shower or have put hot towels on your face for 5 to 10 minutes,
A light touch when it comes to shaving also helps, get a good old safety razor, with one or two blades, you don’t have to barely press at all, exfoliate your face before shaving! and the day after, put witch hazel on your face and also get a face product (face wash or moisturizer) with salyctic acid in it.
    this should help alot!
