What are some good products to treat/prevent acne?

I’ve tried almost everything and im getting frustrated…especially since im not a teenager anymore and i just cant seem to stop getting break outs, they’re not huge pimples or white heads but just small patches of red bumps and my skin gets oily. what are some good cleansers or moisturizers i can use that work well for acne prone skin?

I have the same problem… but I am a teen. Haha.

Anyways, some good products would be:
    1. Neutrogena: Oil-Free Acne Stress Control (MicroClear)
    2. St. Ives: Apricot Scrub Blackhead and Blemish Control (I really like this one.)

I love these two products. And they’re relatively cheap compared to that crap ProActive stuff. The key thing to look for in acne control products are the words "Oil-Free". Another good thing to look for in the ingredients is Benzoyl Peroxide. Salicylic Acid is second best to Benzoyl Peroxide. I would recommend the latter, because B.P. is pretty strong, and you could easily get sunburn if you walk around in the sun with that stuff on your face.

    Hope this helps.

well it depend what your skin reacts to…my face loved pro-active…but of course..that thing is expensive..try other things like clean&clear..or other products on rack..if not try pro-active..it really works!

well I’ve had great success with Arbonne’s products

For extreme cases, many people have used Proactive and had great results

See a dermatologist for a prescription. Based on your skin type, they’ll give you the right product.

I’ve been using a topical antibiotic called DalacinT for years…and it’s worked. It strictly gets rid of acne (unless you stop using it of course).

    Good luck!

Drink a ton of water everyday.. Mix a little arm&hammer baking soda in with water on the shower and rub in for 30 seconds & rinse. It works!
