What is a quick, easy way to get rid of and prevent acne?
I have used many different products to prevent acne. The thing is, they all need to be used daily. I'm horrible at keeping up on routines, so they don't really work for me. Also, I have combination skin(Oily and dry).
Well you have to keep a skin routine. It is very important to cleanse your skin nightly – at least – and exfoliate 2-3 times a week. If you have the extra money I would suggest using MD Forte glycolic lotion 15%. It is an excellent product and I have used it for years. You will see a difference in your skin in about 2-3 weeks. Glycolic acid (AHA) exfoliates first layer of dead skin, improves skin tone and elasticity, and helps moisturizers penetrate into the skin. They also have a glycolic cleanser that is great. Since your skin is combination, you have to be careful not to overdry your skin with treatment products. So another product I would suggest is a salicylic acid 1 to 2% – Neutrogena makes great products with this added ingredient. And just spot treat the acne every other day. Don't over medicate your skin.
Most importantly, cleanse to remove oil, dirt, and makeup. Use sunblock and glycolic product. You will see improvement. Good luck!!
Well the only way is to have a routine! Just get a facial scrub and facial lotion. Wash your face in the morning n before you go to bed and use the lotion after! Also. to prevent acne do not touch your face =]
You'll need a routine to prevent acne.
Drinking a lot of water has helped me- not really a lot, a lot but more. Carry a water bottle around and drink out of it when ever you can. And eat healthily. Seriously, wash your face twice a day with mild soap and rinse it well, and after that you can use witch hazel or something like that as a toner.
There is no "quick and easy" way to prevent acne. You have to find a skin care routine that works for you and stick with it. Wash your face every day, at least once a day. Alot of ppl wash their face twice a day. Even skipping one day can throw your routine's effectiveness out the window. Find a good acne cleanser, toner or treatment and moisturizer. I like neutrogena's products. Also keep in mind your skin will prolly eventally get "immune" to your regimen, so you'll prolly have to change it up every few months. Right now I'm using Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Oil-Control foaming cleanser, followed by Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Acne-Defense face lotion. It hasn't completely cleared my skin up, but it's helped (but it's very drying). WHATEVER PRODUCTS YOU USE….STICK WITH IT!
