How can I reduce my stress and manage time to be successful?
Most of the time I became depressed, when I face work overload. As a result, I ended up without finishing anything. These incompletion of my work further reduce my confidence level. As a result, I become very much stressed. Plz advice me with genuine suggestion and proper explanation. I will be grateful to you. Thank u in advance for giving me ur valuable time. Take care.
While a schedule can be useful in such a situation,if you limit yourself too much it will most likely backfire in making you feel that you didn't accomplish what you should have when you should have only making you more stressed.
A simple to-do list might be more helpful in such a situation and giving yourself a reasonable time to do it in is also encouraging.
Find small ways to reward yourself for the things you accomplished and all should go well.
Best of Luck!
Gosh, I have gone through this same thing. Now, I have a calendar and write EVERYTHING I need to do down, and love to put a line through what is finished.
This is also makes a good reference for simple things like, last time went to the dentist, when so and so had a special event, as well as work related projects and appointments.
I also know that with all of this new technology, most people use computer related schedules, but I prefer to write them in my calendar book, always with me, always accesssible.
I also feel less stressed, more organized and focused when I know what needs to be done and when.
Plan your day out and write out your plan of attack, do this the night before or first thing in the morning. Discover what areas cause you the most stress and hammer on these areas first. Stay away from people who make your day harder, unless you have to work with them. Learn to say NO, it will save you so much time and energy. Saying no has saved my sanity. Get a P.O. Box vs. having mail sent to your house. Go thru your mail at the post office counter and throw away anything that isn't important right then and there. Don't let clutter pile up, it makes you feel overwhelmed and behind, even if this isn't the case. Pick something that gives you joy and helps you relax and schedule this activity each day. I like to read, so I do just a little reading before I go to bed to calm me down. If you have a real medical case of depression, don't be ashamed to ask or help. I had to take meds to deal with the stress of two jobs, a new child, a divorce, and a dying parent all in the same year. I was for the first time overwhelmed and my depression showed up thru obsessive behavior. Because I am a successful person, people didn't see me as depressed, I didn't either until and doctor friend made me understand that depression has many faces. Once I started the meds, I felt calmer and better able to get my day under control. I don't take meds now, but they helped me thru a very difficult time.
I used to face the similar situation like yours but now, I'm really feel better and happy to spend time with my friends.
I do not know about details of your schedule, but I recommend you to get up early and have enough time to relax and to do anything you wanna before you go to work if it is possible.
Next, I think taking a shower after you come back to home as soon as possible is really beneficial because it makes your body warm and relaxed. But plz be careful for your body not to be cold.
And, have dinner or do something you like.
Personally, I like using the Internet, listening to music, and having some cups of decaf tea, so I enjoy the night time before going to bed.
However, I have to say that using pc before sleeping is not good for your health because it makes your eyes exhausted and also, it would wake you up.
My point is that sleeping is the most important to reduce your stress!! Therefore, I'd like to say, plz enjoy the time before going to bet w/o preventing your sleep.
*option—Enjoy anyway if it's hard for you because of depression. Talk to your friends and smile. That is the most effective solution, I believe.
I hope this could help you. take care:)
