How can I reduce stress and stop being pessimistic?
I tend to worry a lot about everything..I just feel so stressed out all the time. Even small things irritate me, and sometimes it just feels like I’m going to blow up. Also, when I start feeling positive and happy, it seems like something ALWAYS messes that up somehow!
Can you all give me tips on how to be less stressed out and how to just accept things? I feel like it’s really taking a toll on me
Being negative is a habit, just like biting your nails.
You have to work to break it.
Every time you think a negative thought, you can chose not to dwell on it. Replace it with a positive thought.
If you find yourself saying something negative, force yourself to find something positive, no matter how minor it may seem.
At least once a day, list 10 or more blessings in your life. If your 5 senses work, be thankful. The loss of 1 can completely turn your life upside down.
Fight the pessimistic with the POSITIVE!
well,may I recommend seeing a counselor?or,you could maybe carry a stress ball with you if you want
Tai-Chi (don’t knock it till you try it)
Eat healthy food
Exercise
Kick puppies.

Believe me I have been where you are at. I used to be extremely pessimistic. You can’t just say that the glass is half full, so maybe you just say somebody’s been drinking out of it. In each situation, try and find a positive perspective in the situation no matter how simple it is. In addition to finding something positive, search for something humorous in the situation and the desired result is that you will be happy and more positive. It will take some effort on your part but I think you can do it if you try. Good Luck.
