This is a problem that many students have. You need to prioritize. Make sure you have your homework done and studying out of the way. Maybe you can do half your work, go out with friends and do the other half the next night. I try to do as much as possible before that need a break point. Good luck to you, everyone has to come up with their own ways to convert eith their lifestyles.

You need to sit down and figure out a managed plan on pleasure and school work. Make time atleast once a week to see a friend. Perhaps study together.

I also have stress in my life and I'm a grown up. My son is a teen and he stresses about school, athletics, dating, and I let him do things that are fun to help him reduce his stress. As for me, my stress comes from bad health, so I am on mild antidepressants, but this something I would never give to my child. Even though it seems as if life is tough now, just wait until you go to college, get married, settle down with a family, work for many of the good years of your life, and have bills to pay. That is true stress, believe me. But everyone has to find their own way to relieve their stress. For me when I was a teen, it was going to dances, staying active, and having my bff's to talk to.
Keep up your studies, first and foremost, but go ahead and get out in the world with people that have similar interests and enjoy your life. This is a fun time. I don't mean to make you think that growing up is unbearably stressful, but I'm saying, there will be a time when life definitely seems as if it is more stressful for you. People manage to work, have a family and enjoy their lives, just as well, but it depends on how you go about doing things. Be positive! Have you tried athletic programs or exercising to help relieve some of that stress? I've read that those are two great ways to help keep your mind off of your stress. Or find a hobby you like and try to get someone else interested in it too. As an adult, I love to read when I am stressed out because it takes to a place that is far away from what it bothering me. Afterwards, I feel way more relaxed and if I want even more relief, I go take a bubble bath.
There are many ways to relieve stress, dear one. You might want to talk to your school counselors...they may have some ideas that might help you feel more relaxed and much less stressed out! Good luck to you!!! :)
