Starting Your First Acid Reflux Disease Diet

Studies have proven that the main factor that causes you angina when you have acid reflux is due to over eating.  So by simply limiting yourself, particularly in the afternoon to evening area, you can see big changes in the standard of the sleep that you get.  Another tip, if you are having a problem at night with acid reflux disease is to eat a tiny dry break such as 2 or three crackers.  Right before bed, and elevating your head, with perhaps one or two more pillows can greatly increase the standard of your sleep at night. 

If your acid reflux is under control with just cutting back on some eating then congratulations.  You should be just fine with your present diet.  most of us need to analyze what we are eating and cut something out completely.  As an example high-fat, spicy, caffeinated and alcohol can cause your stomach to provide a load more acid to digest it.  So cutting down or moving any of those foods can also help your acid reflux illness diet. 

This is especially important for if you start cutting out food groups, you do not need to go back and start binging on oily and fatty foods, because you cut them out too fast and could not fight the urge.
